Climate Chaos
In a world not so distant, but here all the same,
Lived creatures of wonder, each with their own name.
The sun shone so bright, the skies were so blue,
The rivers ran clear, and the air felt brand new.
But a change was afoot, oh yes, it was true,
A tale of concern for me and for you.
The Earth grew warmer, like a cozy embrace,
But this warming had consequences, oh what a race!
Climate Chaos
Mixed Media Resin and Mica Sculpture
11 x 14 (Sold)

Icebergs did melt, and oceans did rise,
As tears from the heavens fell from the skies.
The creatures did worry, the trees swayed in fright,
For the balance of nature was starting to fight.
The winters grew short, the summers grew long,
The seasons all mixed, something was wrong.
The polar bears swam, the penguins did too,
Their homes disappearing, a sad hullabaloo.
Fierce storms did rage, with a mighty display,
Wind howling and swirling, taking things far away.
The forests were shrinking, the deserts did grow,
The Earth felt the pain, don’t you know, don’t you know?
But all hope’s not lost, for we hold the key,
To care for our planet, as it’s meant to be.
We must reduce emissions, use energy wise,
Protect all the creatures under the skies.
Let’s plant trees and recycle, let’s work hand in hand,
To heal Mother Earth, across every land.
For in the tale of climate change, so true,
It’s up to us all to know what to do.
