My name is Patsy Evans. I am the Alchemist Artist, a therapist, educator, author, investigator and activist. Art is where my curiosity, emotion and imagination take physical form.

I was born in the United States and raised in Germany during the Cold War. My later teens brought me to Tampa, Florida. That journey is part of the life I bring into my work: an interest in people, the worlds we build and the possibilities we have yet to imagine.

I create cosmic landscapes, tactile objects, sculpture, wearable art and photography. Resin, mica, sand, paint and other materials become places to explore. Texture invites a closer look. Light reveals one story, and darkness can reveal another.

Art has always helped me process and express feelings. It gives me somewhere to put what words cannot quite hold, and a way to find joy in the act of making.

Living with lupus changed my relationship with time, energy and what I want to leave behind. Creating became an even more deliberate part of my life. My art is part of my legacy, but it is also how I stay present in the life I am living now.

As a member and advocate of the LGBTQIA+ community, I care deeply about dignity, belonging and the freedom to exist without being reduced to someone else’s expectations. Those values shape my clinical work, my advocacy and my creative life.

My professional background includes mental health counseling, traumatology, sex therapy, family mediation, teaching and leadership. I am the founder and CEO of HarmonyUs, and I continue to supervise clinicians.

In 2026, I began a sabbatical focused on democracy, survivor advocacy, investigative research and public accountability. Through EpsteinWiki, Butterfly Bureau, Resistance Kitty and Resistance Directory, I build tools and spaces that help people find evidence, understand difficult issues and take informed action.

I have built the websites and public knowledge systems that connect these projects, and I coordinate an independent research team. My clinical background informs how I approach coercion, grooming, institutional betrayal and survivor communication.

Art and advocacy meet in my commitment to expression, dignity and connection. Some work invites wonder. Some asks difficult questions. Both matter to me.
