The Black Hole Project
The mysteries of space give me room to imagine forms that cannot be fully explained at a glance. The Black Hole Project explores that fascination through mixed media artwork, bringing texture, reflected light and glow into abstract cosmic landscapes.
I use resin, mica, sand and latex across the series to give those imagined spaces a physical presence. Their surfaces invite close looking, letting you follow details and form your own sense of the world within each piece.
Imagining the unknown
These works are artistic interpretations inspired by black holes. I approach the subject through abstraction, using material and light to suggest depth, movement and the uncertainty of something beyond familiar experience.
The glow is part of that artistic language. It offers another way to encounter the work after dark, changing which details draw your attention and inviting you to return to the same surface.

Texture as part of the journey
The tactile quality of this series matters to me. Texture gives the eye a path to follow and the work a presence beyond its image. A contour, a reflective detail or a change in the surface can become the beginning of another imagined landscape.
I want viewers to have time to explore those details. Abstraction leaves space for individual interpretation, allowing one person to see movement where another notices stillness or depth.
A reason to look again
The Black Hole Project holds my curiosity about space in a form I can build, examine and share. Each piece offers a different encounter with that curiosity, while the glow photographs add another perspective to the collection.
