The Solar Flare Project is my exploration of imagined solar energy through texture, color, and light. Resin creates a sculpted surface, mica adds shimmer, and luminous pigments give the work another presence in darkness.

These abstract canvases invite a slower look. Follow the movement across a surface, notice the raised details, then switch between photographs to see what changes under different lighting.

Energy made visible

I use mixed media materials including resin, mica, sand, paint, and grout across the project. Their different textures help me suggest motion and intensity. Each composition is an artistic interpretation of solar activity, with its own patterns and rhythm.

Give the work another look

Light changes which details draw your attention. A surface that stands out during the day may give way to a luminous pattern after dark. Use the photograph switches to compare those views, and select any image to open it larger.
