The Comets Project brings imagined celestial trails into textured mixed media art. I use resin, mica, sand, paint, and grout across the collection, exploring the sense of movement in a form that stays still.
These works range from a sculptural comet to individual canvases and a three panel composition. Each piece has its own place below, with matching lighting views grouped together.

Follow the trail
Start with the full composition, then spend time with its smaller details. Switch the lighting view and notice how your eye travels across the same piece. Select any photograph to open it larger.
Blacklight photographs show the work while that light is on. Glow photographs show its appearance in darkness. These views are labeled separately so you can compare them.
